As a published author and accomplished travel writer, I circumnavigated the globe with my husband and our two teenaged sons. I found strength in fighting breast cancer along the way. I advocate for women’s issues as a victim of sexual assault and abuse when I entered college.
My photography and articles have appeared in several magazines, including Cruising World, SAIL, International Living, Multihulls Magazine, Multihull Sailor, and the Caribbean Compass. “Night Shock” was included in the anthology, “The Best of the Caribbean Compass.”
I currently live aboard a catamaran in the Bahamas with my husband, Peter, and our little black Schipperke, named Bella. She has been featured on international TV as a dog that plays with wild dolphins and is famous.
Our sons now own their own sailing catamarans, and together, we run our business in the Bahamas while free-diving for lobsters and fish off the back of our boats.
My travels aren’t limited to the sea. With my family, I have traveled the world by train, donkey, horseback, bicycle, and plane. I host presentations of my photography and work as a motivational speaker, encouraging families to travel with their children, put down their devices, and get out to explore.
Follow my steps as I take you on a journey with me in my latest book.
